Viareggio, 30 gennaio 2017 – Continua il successo della serie FB800 Custom costruita con scafo in vetroresina e sovrastruttura in alluminio, una tecnologia Benetti che nel tempo è risultata vincente e che permette un uso dello spazio molto più ampio della zona living rispetto agli altri yacht delle stesse dimensioni. Benetti FB803 M/Y Blake è infatti ora in costruzione on spec nel cantiere di Viareggio dove sono iniziati i primi lavori di allestimento degli interni. Il varo è previsto nei primi mesi del 2018.
Dopo aver venduto nel 2016 l’FB802 Project M/Y Zazou iniziato anch’esso in speculazione, Benetti persegue la fortunata strategia commerciale di costruire in speculazione imbarcazioni superiori ai 50 metri su piattaforme navali collaudate per ridurre notevolmente i tempi di attesa dei futuri armatori.
Il layout interno del progetto Blake regala una vivibilità eccezionale e si avvale dello speciale e prezioso contributo di Bannenberg & Rowell design che ha lavorato su tonalità e volumi per amplificare maggiormente gli spazi e la luminosità della barca.
La Guest Area sul lower deck si sviluppa su una superficie di 310 metri quadri e ha quattro cabine ospiti (le due VIP hanno un dressing dedicato). Sull’upper deck si trova un salotto privato che può essere trasformato in una quinta cabina VIP. Sul sun-deck si trova una straordinaria area conviviale, unica nel suo genere: 23 metri di lunghezza per una superficie di 135 metri quadrati.
L’appartamento dell’armatore si trova invece sul main deck a prua e si sviluppa a tutta larghezza barca su una superficie di 60 mq (inclusi camera da letto, guardaroba, bagno e studio) oltre a 6 mq di balcone privato.
Lo stile scelto per l’FB803 Blake è un vero “classico moderno” che definisce ambienti senza tempo grazie a un’attenta ed elegante selezione di materiali. I legni di abete spazzolato, noce scuro e rovere bianco, si amalgamano perfettamente con il Travertino Silver, la pietra Eramosa e l’Arabescato Vagli lucido. Le finiture, tra le altre, prevedono bronzo chiaro e scuro martellati, argento chiaro, specchi in vetro acidato, mosaico di madreperla.
Il garage di poppa con apertura laterale sullo scafo può alloggiare un tender di 6,3 metri, mentre a prua si trovano due jet-sky ed un vano rescue boat. La spiaggia di poppa è un beach club dedicato con un portellone che si apre sul mare che diventa una grande terrazza a pelo d’acqua.
M/Y Blake garantisce prestazioni da scafo “confortevole” con un livello estremamente basso di vibrazioni e rumore. La motorizzazione è affidata a due CAT C32 Acert di 1193 kW ciascuno di potenza, che assicurano prestazioni adeguate alla nave con le sue sole 498 tonnellate di Gross Tonnage. La velocità di crociera si attesterà a 14 nodi con l’impiego delle macchine all’85% del carico, mentre la massima raggiungerà i 15,5 nodi. Ad una andatura di crociera economica di 12 nodi, l’autonomia sarà di 4000 miglia nautiche.
L’imbarcazione presenta degli standard qualitativi molto alti e può essere registrata con certificazione MCA LY3, soddisfacendo ampiamente tutti i requisiti necessari per adibirla all’attività di charter.

BENETTI FB803, M/Y BLAKE: THE THIRD IN THE SERIES NOW UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT THE VIAREGGIO SHIPYARD

Continuing its successful run, the FB800 Custom series is built with a fiberglass hull and an aluminium superstructure, using what has proved to be winning technology developed by Benetti, allowing a much larger use of space in the living area compared to any other yacht of the same size. The latest unit, the Benetti FB803 M/Y Blake, is now under construction on spec at the Viareggio shipyard, where work recently got underway on fitting out the interiors. The launch is scheduled for early 2018.
After the sale in 2016 of the FB802 Project M/Y Zazou, which also began construction on spec, Benetti continues to pursue its fortunate commercial strategy of building boats over 50 meters in length on spec using tried and tested platforms, to significantly reduce waiting time for future owners.
The interior layout of Paroject Blake features exceptional livability, drawing on a special contribution from Bannenberg & Rowell Design, who worked on colour tones and volumes to increase the space on the boat still further and make it even more luminous.
The Guest Area on the lower deck covers a surface area of 310 square metres and has four guest cabins (the two VIP suites have dedicated walk-in wardrobes). The private saloon on the upper deck can also be turned into a fifth VIP cabin. The convivial area on the sun deck has an extraordinary extension, unique in its kind: 23 metres of length with a surface of 135 square metres.
The owner’s apartment is on the main deck in the bow and occupies the entire beam of the yacht, with a surface area of 60 sq m (including bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, bathroom and study), plus a six-square-meter private balcony.
The FB803 is styled as a true “modern classic”, with timeless settings defined by the careful selection of elegant materials. Brushed fir wood, dark walnut and white oak are the perfect
match for Silver Travertino, Eramosa stone and polished Arabescato Vaglia. The finishings include light and dark hammered bronze, light silver, etched glass mirrors and mother of pearl mosaic.
The stern garage with side access through the hull can house a 6.3 meter tender, while in the bow there are two jetskis and a rescue boat compartment. The stern swim platform is a dedicated beach club with a stern door that opens to form a spacious terrace at water level.
M/Y Blake delivers the performance of a “comfortable” hull with an extremely low level of vibration and noise. The two CAT C32 Acert engines each deliver 1,193 kW, providing adequate performance for a yacht with a gross tonnage of just 498 tonnes. Cruising speed of 14 knots is maintained by the engines at 85% of full load and the yacht has a top speed of 15.5 knots. At the cost-effective cruising speed of 12 knots, the yacht will have a range of 4,000 nautical miles.
The yacht is built to very high quality standards and can be registered with MCA LY3 certification because it comfortably satisfies all the requirements for chartering.
