Livorno, 28 aprile 2017 – Benetti è lieta di annunciare che è stato varato con successo l’FB268 M/Y SEASENSE, superyacht full custom di 67 metri con scafo in acciaio e sovrastruttura in alluminio, costruito per un esperto armatore che ha scelto per la prima volta il brand Benetti.
La cerimonia del varo è avvenuta nello storico cantiere Benetti di Livorno, perfettamente in linea con il piano di produzione, alla presenza delle maestranze, del management di Benetti, della rappresentanza armatoriale e dell’equipaggio.
Le eleganti linee esterne di SEASENSE sono state create dal designer olandese Cor D. Rover, alla sua prima collaborazione con Benetti, mentre l’architettura navale è stata sviluppata all’ufficio tecnico del cantiere. Il design degli interni in stile contemporaneo nasce invece dalla collaborazione tra gli architetti del team Benetti e lo studio di design AREA di Los Angeles, all’esordio mondiale nel settore dei superyacht. Il layout prevede 6 suite per ospitare un massimo di 12 ospiti.
L’essenza del concept di questo superyacht Benetti è ben rappresentata dal suo nome – SEASENSE – che si traduce in un progetto che privilegia il rapporto con l’ambiente circostante. L’armatore ha infatti voluto un grande sviluppo delle aree esterne per massimizzare il contatto con il mare. In particolare, sul ponte principale, a poppa, è stata inserita una grande piscina con area prendisole direttamente collegata al particolare salone principale che, grazie all’apertura di grandi porte scorrevoli, aumenta ulteriormente lo spazio all’aperto a disposizione degli ospiti.
FB268 SEASENSE – motorizzato con 2 Caterpillar da 1380kW, può raggiungere una velocità massima di 15,5 nodi attestandosi a una velocità di crociera di 15 nodi. L’autonomia è di 5.000 miglia nautiche alla velocità di 12 nodi.
La consegna è prevista per fine luglio 2017.

BENETTI LAUNCHES THE M/Y SEASENSE, A 67 METER CUSTOM SUPERYACHT
Benetti is pleased to announce the launch of FB268 M/Y SEASENSE the 67 meter full custom superyacht with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure built for an experienced owner who has chosen the Benetti brand for the first time.
The launch ceremony took place in Benetti’s historic Livorno shipyard, perfectly on schedule according to the production plan, with shipyard workers, Benetti management, the owner’s representatives and the crew in attendance.
The elegant exterior lines of the M/Y SEASENSE are by the Dutch designer Cor D. Rover, designing its first Benetti vessel, while the naval architecture was developed by the shipyard’s technical office. The contemporary styling of the interiors, on the other hand, is the result of collaboration between the Benetti’s architects team and the design studio AREA from Los Angeles, making its debut in the world of superyachts. The layout includes six suites that can accommodate up to 12 guests.
The basic concept underpinning this Benetti superyacht is reflected in its name – SEASENSE – which has been translated into a design that revolves around the relationship with the surrounding environment. In fact, the owner wanted the outdoor areas to be as spacious as possible, to offer the maximum possible contact with the sea. In particular, the stern area of the main deck is given over to a big pool with a sun-lounging area connected to the peculiar main salon that, through the opening of big sliding doors, provides even more outdoor space for guests.
FB268 SEASENSE– fitted with 2 1380kW Caterpillar engines, it has a top speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. The range at a cost effective speed of 12 knots is 5,000 nautical miles.
Delivery is scheduled for the end of July 2017.
