Avigliana, 10 gennaio 2016 – Azimut Yachts brinda con entusiasmo al nuovo anno che si apre nel migliore dei modi: Azimut Magellano 66 è stato premiato ai Motor Boat Awards 2017, organizzati come ogni anno dall’autorevole rivista inglese specializzata Motor Boat & Yachting, come migliore imbarcazione nella categoria Passagemakers.
I prestigiosi premi vengono assegnati da una giuria di esperti redattori e boat tester sulla base dei risultati delle prove in mare effettuate con le imbarcazioni nel corso degli ultimi dodici mesi. Il Magellano 66 quindi, così come gli altri finalisti – tra cui figurava anche l’Azimut 72 – per ognuna delle nove categorie, hanno dovuto superare test approfonditi e rigorosi. A convincere definitivamente la giuria, che ha dichiarato l’Azimut Magellano 66 migliore Passagemaker, sono state soluzioni di layout e volumi tipici di barche più grandi – in particolare nella versione Navetta – ampi spazi storage per un prolungato soggiorno a bordo, il senso di grande sicurezza che si percepisce in ogni ambiente e la libertà di poter navigare a lungo raggio grazie alla carena Dual Mode, carena in grado di garantire una navigazione decisamente confortevole anche in caso di mare parzialmente mosso.

Il riconoscimento è stato consegnato nel corso della cena di gala svoltasi il 9 gennaio 2017 a Londra, in concomitanza con il London Boat Show.

AZIMUT YACHTS TRIUMPHS AT THE MOTOR BOAT AWARDS 2017 WITH ITS MAGELLANO 66
Avigliana,Italy, january, 2017 – Azimut Yachts toast to a great 2017 opening: Azimut Magellano 66 was awarded with the Motor Boat Awards 2017, organized every year by the authoritative British magazine Motor Boat & Yachting, as best vessel in the Passagemakers category.
The prestigious awards have been assigned by a panel of judges including the magazine’s editors and experienced boat testers on the basis of the results of sea trials conducted over the past twelve months. Magellano 66, as well as all the finalists – among those there were also the Azimut 72 – in each of the 9 categories were required to undergo rigorous tests.
What definitively convinced the jury to declare the Azimut Magellano 66 best Passagemaker, were the volumes and layout solutions that are indeed typical of larger boats – particularly in the Explorer version – ample storage spaces for an extended stay on board, together with the freedom of leaving for long range cruises thanks to the Dual Mode hull that ensures a very comfortable and safe navigation even in the case of rough sea.
The prestigious awards were officially presented during the Gala dinner held January 9th 2017, on the occasion of the London Boat Show.
